looking to connect

Hello from a fellow Brown University alumni… and your daughter.

I would love to connect with you. I have been passionately following your work for the past 23 years. What I’ve seen has really impressed me, particularly how you handled three children under the age of seven and how you have pivoted in your role to handle three children over the age of eighteen. From the moment I met you (maybe you don't remember, but I was about 10 inches long and had squished in eyes) I knew we had a special connection- perhaps because I see myself in you in so many ways. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that we share 50% of our DNA.

I loved your recent campaign titled “Please Stop Spending My Money” I was particularly impressed by your clear and effective communication to stop charging my iced coffees to your credit card.

I’d love to take you out to coffee (See? It doesn’t have to ALL be on your card) so I can learn more about your career, given that as your child I spend the majority of my time asking you to focus on me and my problems. If we have time, I may also share a bad parenting choice you once made when I was in middle school.

Please see my resume of childhood memories attached and thank you for your time.

All the best,

Lucy Dolan-Zalaznick
